Machinarium is a must, especially for fans of the adventure genre. It's a beautiful little game.

With a couple of annoying mini games thrown in. F*** nuts and bolts.

Of which the AI for "tic-tac-toe" is totally flawed, but it's still a nice game worth playing (IMO).
ShowMeTheGames (Indie "portal" run by Cliffski from Positech Games (Gratuitous Space Battles, Kudos, Democracy)) is running a "sale" on some interesting indie titles.

It's basically a list of discount (up to 75%) codes to use to buy direct from the developers.

Up for 2 weeks.

EDIT: ShowMeTheGames is not a DirectDownload Shop, more of a showcase page. You don't buy from SMTG, but you'll always be directed to the developer's own pages. It's totally legit, if anyone is wondering.

The discount code you provided cannot be used at this time. (The discount scheme, to which this code belongs, is not active). Your order was not processed.

Orders via BMT Micro don't work for me so I pass this time :/

lowyhong: Are you sure? It's only $4 for both episodes on Gamersgate.

grviper: Like this one? http://store.steampowered.com/sub/7135/
I saw those games go 75% off there in every major sale this year. Well, before the Russians were declared unworthy of them.
So they would be $3 on Steam IF they go on 75% discount again. I wouldn't call $1 "way cheaper".
Does anybody know if the GG version gives you a serial? I think that the Steam version doesn't give you a serial so you wouldn't be able to use it to register the Linux version, just Windows and Mac. If you do get a serial with this one you should be able to register the demo and get the full game.

Lol, I just tried to buy the first game, but there is no promo code textbox on the checkout page, therefore the discount cannot be applied.
So the site seems fake.
There is a box further down. do a copy paste and then scroll back up and hit recalculate and there you go.

Not for every game. It seems the order of the games is changing at every reload. Try Project Aftermath.
Direct2Drive countdown to Black Friday deals. I saw this post that shows the deals that should show up over the next 12 days.

Why am I not surprised that RAGE is already seeing a 50% discount? I wonder how cheap it will be at Christmas.

The site is not fake.
Here is Cliff Harris blog post.
And here RPS one.

Here is the original SMTG site announcemente, from one year ago (and here the RPS one)

Regarding the random order of the games here's a quote form the announcement blogpost:

The site is php and randomises the order of the games, so nobody has a better slot than anyone else.
I've tried a few promos and they work.
Project Aftermath is using Fastspring instead of BMT as their ecommerce provider, so the checkout procedure is a bit different. I just tried: after you insert your data you'll be directed to the actual checkout page, and there is the box for the discount code. I entered it and it worked.

Finally!

I've been waiting for a long time for Bastion to go on sale, i think i will pick it up now since it's DRM free on GG, not to mention it's a fair 50% instead of UK getting screwed via pricing.

As for Zenoclash, i've seen it cheaper on steam and it requires steam anyway so i will pass for now and probably wait for the steam christmas sale until i buy it.

And If you are at it get Alchemia Extended, too.
It was inpired by Samorost´s grphics style, but can stand on it´s own very well.

Yes ZenoClash is a Steam game, also it uses Source/ HL2-Engine. But it´s totally worth the aksing on GG, if you need it NOW! ;)

Oh, man, Evochron Mercinary is 50% off using the discount at ShowMeTheGames. A few of my friends told me that it was a really awesome space sim. The discount actually works-- it leads to a special page on the Evochron developer's website where you can purchase it for $15.

Anyway, thanks to whoever posted about the ShowMeTheGames deals!
