I used my German VISA in Japna all the time. I just had to change the Billing address in VISA Providers online banking account to my Japanese address, which was a none-issue.

Last I heard it ties to your machine and for a new key you need to email him. That counts as DRM for me. His latest release got rid of this however.

I tried that code and it does not work. Warning: Origin is horrible for downloading. They don't compress their games so beware of large download size. Also, the downloarder is terrible and you can easily be auto logged off and lose all the download, it doesn't save anything in case something goes wrong, its horrible trust me. After 2 days of downloading, i had 7Gb and it auto logged me off and i lost everything. I ended up downloading from D2D where i bought the game and it was great.

Hahaha... the Silverfall demo on Steam doesn't work on Win7 due to Tages. On a demo!

Yeah, that became a not-so-uncommon practice after people figured out that one can use demos' exe-s to see unprotected code and use that for cracking the release DRM.

Yeah, as if that would miraculously stop piracy!

Anyway, enough with this game. I have too many Diablo copies already anyway.

Pretty much true. There is a file you can backup after registering though that saves it. If you copy your install from one machine to another or change hardware it keeps working. If you do a fresh install without backing up this file first, then you have to get another key.

Well on Dotemu they would be DRM free. I'm just saying it's extremely hard to tell if I want the games. Demo doesn't work, no real youtube footage... so I'm just gonna pass.

Honestly, I've played Silverfall and am probably going to pick up the Loki game from this sale, and the Loki demo was a lot better than Silverfall and I beat Silverfall. I can't really explain what's so bad about the game. Textures suck, loot variety sucked, level design sucked, story sucked. Skill progression, magic effects and character art design were the only things that were solid in the game in my opinion. Loot variety wasn't that good, but the art design for the loot was, so it's not that bad I guess. Town graphics were pretty good though, but you'll spend much more time wandering around ugly world map designs killing stuff than standing around in a town.

I did have some fun with it though once I beat the Silverfall campaign, I really haven't had any desire to continue onto the Earth Awakening section.
