The double helix triple backspin stab to the face DLC.

With the just released, highly anticipated Patch 1.07 our hunt is more accessible, more convenient and all around better. But while business is business for professional Witchers, it's also high time for something with a bit more... pizzazz.

Forget Wolf School, here comes the Cool School, and Geralt just picked up a few new tricks at Kewl Morhen. Today's DLC introduces a pack of all-new combat finishers to truly take your sword skills to the next level of badass.

Blood, guts and gory… It's the White Wolf now with more bite, in this week episode of the FREE DLC Program!

INSTALLING THE FREE CONTENT:

Here is how you can grab and install your new DLC in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Add the 16 FREE DLC Program to your account from its product page. It's like buying a game, but free.

A) If you're using GOG Galaxy:

--Select The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from the sidebar to open its game page.
--Click on the drop-down labeled "More", (located next to the PLAY button) and choose "Configure".
--The Configure page will feature all available DLCs listed towards the bottom.
--Select each DLC that you want to install, and GOG Galaxy will do the rest. If you want to remove the DLC from your game, simply uncheck the selection box.

B) If you're using the website:

You can download installers for each DLC pack manually. Simply head to the Library section of My Account, locate The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and download the files you want. Afterwards, run each one as if you were installing a game or patch.

Uninstall Geforce Experience, it only causes problems like that.

Is it normal for the Witcher 3 Free DLC to not show up in the game shelf? I tried an account refresh but it didn't change anything.

There used to be only 1 achievement: finishing a game.
Still the only achievement I care about.

If you are reluctant to uninstall Nvidia Experience (say, if you have a Shield or something similar and take advantage of game streaming) you can try opening Services.msc and stopping the "Nvidia Streamer Service" before playing The Witcher 3.
I've only had crashing issues on occasion, but each time it's become an issue, this has taken care of it. You can just restart the service after you're done playing. If you don't use the streaming or shadowplay features though, there's not much point to having Experience installed, as it seems to have more bugs than features.

You're a boatload of the same thing. My game is no different then what anyone else has and thus these are not game bugs. If it was a game bug, it would affect everyone who's running on same version. So go dive into the sack of the stuff you mentioned and fix your crappy PC and/or Windows. There's the problem, not in the game.

Will def try now. Even though i use a Game Booster which kills off everything including Experience and Nvdia tray.

Grargar: You might have to "rebuy" it.
I tried that and it said, "This order can only be gifted as it contains an item you already own." So does that mean there's no way to actually download this since I don't have the full game yet?

First of all I'm not having any issues with my game, mine is running fine. That doesn't change the fact that there are quest breaking bugs and glitches in this game that affect other users. I don't expect you to understand that since you're a sack of shit :)

Still freezes constantly in the Inventory(especially in the Consumables tab). Everytime.

Finished my first run through of story on PC and have to say, not a single crash or issue. Great job! A couple of in-game glitches like the Skellige blacksmith (still not fixed), but overall it was amazing. Levelling for me is the only issue. Got my level 34 Wolf Armour at Level 33, just as I was going into the final scenes. I just couldnt find anything to do to level me up further so I could use it for the last battle. No contracts on notices and area fights just add 5 XP to my character. How the hell are you meant to get to Level 46!
Also. I'd love the option to stash all my stuff in the chest, then start a new game with that kit ready to rock... Seriously. I need this...

so you... dont care about them,
MOST do..

again about 90% (pulled the number out my rear yes)
about 90% of consumers buy steam games that
a. have cards
or
b. have achievements

or
c. both.

if one or both arent met, most pass.

now saying that, there are groups and even on console called COMPLETIONISTS
gettin 100% in every game etc, trophies etc
again i blame console kids

but like achievements cards are also pointless right?

if something on steam is sold saying trading cards or achievements

Luandro: Please release patch 1.08 asap. I cant play any of the new content and currently have 2 versions of the game on my pc wich is taking up a load of space. This is due to constant freezing and the game has become unplayable for me. Great FPS but freezes due to my dual core cpu ever 10 seconds, where in patch 1.06 it was fine I had none of these issues. Please guys! Even if you have to make a seperate patch for dual core users I dont mind if fps drops or whatever as long as it stops freezing the entire time.

Agree completely bud. Shame that they're here to stay - I get that. I just will never see why the 'completionists' judge themselves on games charactarisation of what is or isn't an achivement - Just enjoy the game and play it how you want to - that's the whole reason for open world games like this - and this is a fantastic game (bugs aside but with a game this size your going to get bugs). All the best.

Ha, me too mate. Play the game your way and sod 'achivements'. Especially open world games like this.
Basically, they just need to fix the bugs and they will have one of the best games ever made. The 'achivements' are fine - just leave them as they are. True gamers will never look at them anyway. Would you rather Backstab somebody to the face (as per the latest DLC) which looks pretty damn awesome or be able to compare achivements..... Pretty sure most would agree.

the devs have indeed said that the link to steam api and gog galaxy(sorta like steam api) is indeed broken and wonky

does this mean for some it will work and some it wont? yes
but per the newest patch not ONE achievement is working
before that it was just a give or take , again showing that saving then reloading to do the same quest to trigger the achievement, proves this

its not just oh my game is fine, so whats the problem,
you are in the wwwwwroong thread if you think you can post oh look everyone my game runs just fine whats the big deal

1. no the achievements arent working, and have been wonky since 1.04
2. the game now has far more bugs than before the recent patch with no fix in sight

i mean read on some of the changes

example, meditation being wonky
or how weight changed as well as lvls for equips but no mobs were added to lvl up faster
the xp system is screwed, most of the bugs that existed since 1.02 are still there (IE the key missing north of hanged mans tree)

but as for the lvl equips, some had the gear unequipped and were forced to reforge AGAIN just to use gear
not a well thought out patch
i think all they focused on was the terrible horse issues, and storage
which shoulda been in the original, game no patch needed to know this storage was a mind numbing back n forth waste of time
now its better but so much more is broken
in game not just achievements

Hi, I have a huge problem with the Witcher since last patch 1.07. It is un playable i have so huge lags that i can't play.
1 sec in a game is 20 in reality. Before i had any problems with game. My CPU is Intel Core i-5; 4GB RAM.
Could anyone help me?
