The Witcher 2 in August 2013.
From there on, things got "a bit" out of hand. I bought most of the games I own here in the first two years since joining.
Dec 30, 2018
74.49 (PAID WITH iDeal)
X4: Foundations Collector's Edition
Freespace 2 when i registered back in 2008. Followed by Fallout 1 & 2
My first GOG games are "Saints Row 2" and "BIT.TRIP Runner", but i got them for free as part of GOG Connect. The first time i bought anything i had two games in my cart i bought at once: "Street Fighter Alpha 2" and "Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption"

Chasmancer: I wouldn't know for sure, and honestly wouldn't mind if they put "Made in Bethesda" all over it, I just can't stand buying inferior or incomplete versions. Even if that makes me pay more in the end. I guess I would take the bait if it was some sort of mail code for the classic trilogy deal, but otherwise it seems I'd have to wait and see if they add the patch and manage to get all extras approved.
Fallout Classic (Interplay) and Fallout (Bethesda) are both equally *inferior and incomplete* with latest official patch (US version with no violence against kids) and HD mod (720p resolution) applied, so...
Not the first game I'd gotten from GOG, but the first game I bought on GOG...

... The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition in 2013
I came here to buy a replacement for my deeply scratched Baldur's Gate disk. I ended up buying 19 games (21 if you count bundles). BG1-2, Icewind Dale 1-2, Temple of Elemental Evil, MM8, HoMM5, Gothic 1-3 (bleh), Starflight (meh), Anachronox (yuck), Jagged Alliance 2, Disciples 1-2, Sacred Gold, King's Bounty TL, Age of Wonders 2 + SM.

I already owned BG1-2, Icewind Dale and Disciples 1 on disk (this was before all my physical media burned i a fire), but without the expansion packs.
Looks like my first bought game was Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator on July 16, 2011. Quickly followed 3 days later by The Longest Journey.

..Now for the first game I bought here that I've actually fully completed ...Well that would be my Oct 29, 2011 purchase of Realms of the Haunting.

Freespace 2 and it was... 13 years ago. Right after the service launched. :)
Settlers 2: 10th Anniversary. As an avid Settlers fan (putting it mildly), from way back to the Amiga days, since playing the first Settlers on that system. Then the Settlers 2 Gold on PC. So when first finding GoG, and noticing they were having a sale, and that an enhanced version of my favourite game was a thing, I jumped at the chance at owning it for such a low price. Man!, was that an anticlimax. So it was back to playing the original 2 gold that I knew and enjoyed... :D
The 4 Unreal games to test waters about how GOG worked (The DRM free thing, payment processing, download speed, offline installers, library, etc)
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. I had played a little of the original campaign way back in the day and I wanted to see if playing through all of it would be fun. Suffice to say, I still have PTSD from some of the harder missions, and I have it un-installed because I don't currently want to torture myself with the expansion campaign.
