Crewdroog: i always take the worst reviews to heart, and even the worst one i've read still makes me happy i pre-ordered. :)

and i'm pretty sure i'm gonna twitch my play of fallout after i make my character (bc i will take ten years doing that)
Why do I get the feeling that your character setup will take about 3 hours? XD

cardangrille: First game I'm legitimately excited to play on launch day for years, nearly time now...

Best of luck. I have no problem making characters, its keeping em that’s the trouble. Can't imagine that tomfoolery would go over well with an audience.

At least avoiding spoilers like that is easy; I have to wait for my Box o' Goodness to arrive (which may be same-day, if I'm lucky) but all I have to do is not go to YouTube. What I'm really dreading is the week I'm going to have to avoid the entire internet and world in general when Star Wars comes out next month. I'm not going to see it until the second weekend, and *that* is going to be talked about a lot >.>

As long as the faces aren't so terrible I have to wince through every iteration and finally settle on the "least worst", chargen shouldn't be too much trouble. I'll just inevitably make a high-int character with emphasis on non-combat skills, and hope for the best ;)

it's something fun i've wanted to try for a bit, especially with my pvp games in destiny, but i can't on my ps3. I figure if people want to watch fine, if not, eh.

i hear you. this is another reason i wanted to get it day one. i'm sick of having everything spoiled for me. so many games, sigh. this one i was like no, i'm going to see it first and not have anything ruined, dammit.

I always make a high agility character first b/c i love sneaking and sniping. I may try something different, like high luck for my first play through though. dunno.

It's been many years since i've purchased (as in handed over cash and not being bundled with a console) a AAA release within 2 years of it's day one release date. But...i did just get a free disc Xbone copy of Call of Duty Black Ops 3 on Friday and it's not really my sort of game, and i've almost finished the single player campaign (all 6 hours of it).

Now if i take COD to EB tomorrow, trade it with my +15% store credit trade bonus, plus the $10 extra trade voucher they just sent me...i estimate i can buy Fallout 4 for only parting with around $20 cash and a crappy COD game.

I think that sounds like a very cunning plan. I've talked myself into it.

nice.

my brother ordered the game really early, first day, and since the price has fluctuated a bit on amazon.com, he is getting it for 34 USD, the lucky jerk. I got 10 USD off on amazon. i'm content.

Crewdroog: Fallout 4 drops on the 10th and I can't wait. This will be my first pre-order of a game. Also, for poops and giggles, I might do a twitch of me playing the game, b/c why not, everyone else will be.

But anyways, did anyone else pre-order? Worried it's gonna be a buggy mess? I am. However, I got it on the xbox, which is lead, so hopefully it will not be too bad.
I do got mine on PC and still pre-load by no., wonder how mess this game would be in the first day and I'd like to see your playing and stream on twitch b/c My pre-load probably wont be finish on launch date :D

I'm always so ridiculously behind in games. I just went through a first-time FTL binge the last few weeks, and last night I just started Fallout 3 for the first time. F4 will eventually be in my future, but probably for my PS4 as my PC just can't handle it. Hate to watch any Let's Plays as I don't like spoiling anything, but the temptation may be too great...
I pre-ordered Fallout 4; probably my first pre-order (along with Battlefront) since SNES days... I'm going in with tempered expectations. Best perk of having a Playstation 4 is playing games my PC can't keep up with.

I hear rumors that there are already Fallout 4 ending spoilers on the internet, wonders never cease.

Hell, people are already posting videos showing where to get secret weapons and how to get the power armor in the first 5 minutes of gameplay.

Anyone ready for Fallout 5 hype? LOL. Hell, by the time the masses get to sink their teeth in F4 the whole thing will be conquered, explored, spoiled, and mapped out by achievement whores and attention seekers.

Well, Fallout3 is seven years old. You'll probably have to upgrade your PC by 2022 >.>
