Might want to read the Mass Effect 2 and 3 section more closely:

You can only buy downloadable content (DLC) for Mass Effect 2 and 3 with BioWare points through Origin.
For example: this is most of those executables in that list and based on the fact that they still sell it, it may require the account using it to have purchased a valid license and validated through the Cerberus network before any of them are able to be used. I personally don't have either Mass Effect title that has the DLC for sale on Origin, so I can't confirm it but I'm sure someone out there reading the thread does and could do so.

edit: Also this

I hate GOG's forum software so much.

The title of the thread is 'ea goodies for gog games'

The only games on gog and in the link is mirrors edge, crysis and dragon age. With the exception of dragon age, both crysis and mirrors edge have soundtracks and/or artbook. Mass effect has nothing to do with this. If you want the crisis artbook or soundtrack, or the mirrors edge soundtrack, you can directly download it. I don't have the game files in front of me to fully check but by comparing it to what the store says, these aren't present with the gog purchase.

I like the taste of my own shoe (I guess teceem doesn't though :D, but I'll leave my own post unedited in case people want to laugh at my buffoonery). Fair point, I should pay better attention. That said, breaking off the "games also sold on GOG" part, I'm still curious about those paid Mass Effect 2 DLCs and whether they'll work or not if the executables are just downloaded and dropped into the Origin install of the game. I suspect not, but if they do then that chops out a reason to dump that amount of money for them at all.

I have Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age 2 base games, so I guess I could try when I have time and can free up some disk space, but I think these are the DRMed installers and only unlock if you have actually bought them.

From what I remember when I torrented the DLCs, first I installed them and then had to run a validator the cracker made (ran in a command line) which activated every DLC one by one. Until I did that, the game ignored them.

Same with Dragon Age.

So just dropping the files into the install folder will most likely not work.

Thanks!

I am working my way through downloading a few of the freebies.

Here's the correct link for one of the faulty ones.

Makes sense. Thanks for confirming it.

Great you can get the goodies for the Crysis artbook and soundtrack.
Just for the record, it seems my copy of Dragon Age from GOG, has most if not all of the DLCs.
I have the Ultimate Edition of Origins.

However, it only lists the one Feastday one - Feastday Gifts
And not the other three, so not sure if they are included in the Gifts one or just an oversight to not mention at GOG.

Feastday Combo Pack 1 – PC
Feastday Combo Pack 2 – PC
Feastday Pranks – PC

The Combo is the Feast day gifts and pranks just by another name just doubled up for folks who bought it different ways I assume. They have the dlc code pack 1 is CP 3 and pack 2 is CP 7 and both gifts and pranks are found in the GOG release. I I recall correctly it provides in game ways of increasing and decreasing the companions relationship scores.

edit: actually checked the urls and they are the same
