Duke3D was brilliant - I've actually been meaning to get a gog copy and try some mods.

Here is my 5 minute attempt at a weapon that I associate with two games in particular.
Well I know of three games with this gun, only the one game is a sequel of the other.
I want to know what game and its sequel had this gun. If someone can guess the other
(slightly more obsure} game then that is worth a 1000 bonus points!

Actually I don't think this should be hard - it's a fairly iconic weapon (hope my sketch is accurate enough tho :P )

That is where the gun comes from, and the answer to the 1000 point bonus question :) What I am looking for
is the game which, along with its sequel, contains an exact replica of this gun. The first game had only one such gun but the sequel had several, and for a significant portion of the game its the best pistol there is.

O yes, by Westwood even. The best adventure game that I know of -wrt music,atmosphere it is in its own league.
I highly recommend it - even today it still looks great. Only the ingame characters appear a little rough around the edges by today's standards, and then only when a character is close to the camera.

Anyways, like I said I am after the other game in another genre that curiously enough is also the best game in its particular genre that I know of. I thought I recognized the pistol when I first saw it in the game, and then found out it was in fact modelled exactly on Deckard's gun in the film.

That gun looks a lot like that loud one from Fallout that uses .223 FMJ ammo. :)
