My guess is that during promos it doesn't matter because each store can set different discounts. The problem seems to be the normal everyday pricing. Hope this helps.
Quite so, I'd imagine constantly updating the pricing scheme is too much for the bean counters at the accountancy department.

I still think that's not all there is to it, but meh.

It does explain why they allow some of their games in the sales. As those are not gonna change price during the sale itself, and can be listed in their spreadsheet as one time deals.

I've been watching the sale for past 6 hrs. Have to leave now for an hour so there's a huge chance that Dead State and/or Wasteland 2 will pop up next...

If someone would be so kind and grab an extra copy I would appreciate it :)

Yeah, and Baldur's Gate II was 6 CDs if you count the bonus disc and expansion. I have too many CDs. D:
I kind of regret throwing out all the cases, though.
