Kaliesto: ... I'm just a random gog user in the end though, I know not many people will read this or care that much but I hope it get some people thinking about the future.
It seems like they started talking so well about the fact that we are one humanity. And somehow they quickly moved away from the general to specific people. Whereas your government is no less old, greedy and evil. Think with your own head already, do not believe the propaganda of your governments. They are the same interested parties in the conflict in Ukraine. This is a redistribution of influence, and ordinary people suffer.

GOG ain't going anywhere.

Buy more games.
Play them..
Then buy some more.

Buy every game and become the king of GOG. There can be only one.

Edit -

I will avoid these highly charged discussions at this time.

But just know we must come together in this dark time, prayers for all.

GroguSkywalker: Seeing the serious economic situation, that they have unfairly vetoed Russian users, that they do not support Linux, that they have not listened to users with steam deck...

There are stores like itch.io that I see more future than gog.

No one understands what is being done on this platform.

Magnitus: I'd like to have less talk about the Russians who can't buy games and talk more about the Ukrainians getting bombed right now and also the minor possibility that this could escalate into a global nuclear conflict (for me, on the pyramid of needs, that's the most dire issue).

Otherwise, anything is possible, but short of Projekt Red going under (or Poland getting invaded), I see Gog still being around in 5 years.
Perhaps Canadians should sort out their own Marxist Government and police force first.

There will always be a need for stores like gog. People need options and companies also make more money if they offer a bigger variety. Like amazon…. You can buy physically, download them and watch offline or stream them. That’s the future and way to go same applies for here because the people which know about gog always know they get the best version and with best i mean drm. Games also don’t work sometimes

No!, but they may have gone through another name change though. Galaxy of Games (GoG), for instance...

dimmaburger: In fact, you don't feel sorry for Ukrainians, no. It's just that it's fashionable now, that's why you support all this.
Actually I do, I see so much similarity to when our country had to fight you guys.

It seems nothing has changed, Russia is still a threat to everyone near to it. You understand only force, so I hope the brave Ukrainians can kill many more thousand invaders. Ukrainians, fight for your freedom, you deserve better than the shit Putin can offer to you.

Just ask the people in Belarus, how happy they are now.

Hogwash, only brainwashed putinists would believe (or claim) something like that. Similar argumentation how Hitler argued Germany invading Poland and other countries, or Stalin invading and threatening Baltic countries, Finland etc.

Ukrainians want to be more part of the west, because they can clearly understand it offers them more freedom, prosperity and safety, than Putin's Russia ever could.

NATO nor EU is not "expanding" anywhere; sovereign smaller countries want to join them in Europe, in order to avoid the threat of Russia. No one in e.g. Baltic countries is sorry for joining EU and NATO.

You will see Finland joining NATO next, and you can thank Putin for that. Before most Finnish people didn't consider it important, now most Finns want to join NATO ASAP. We pushed you guys back already once, and we want to make sure that we are more prepared for future aggressions from Russia.

You mean, because we're not some backwater third world country where a group of people that were not elected can take it upon themselves to go paralyze the capital for a prolonged amount of time without the elected government doing anything about it?

That's not Marxist buddy, that's law and order in a democracy. You have it in the UK too.

Just because you feel your cause is right doesn't entitle you to trample over the will of the majority.
