wbforeman999: New The Humble Comics Bundle: Best of BOOM!
I would post a link to the bundle but the forum won't let me for some reason
OmegaX: It appears some comic books are restricted in some countries. The site says that the Adventure Time, and Steven's Universe comics are not available in my region.
Same in Germany. But that's not my only problem with this bundle. Here's the link:
https://www.humblebundle.com/books/best-of-boom-book-bundle My analysis:
Bundled before (always Humble Bundles):
"Lumberjanes" (except the special)
"Sons of Anarchy"
"Bravest Warriors"
"Bee and Puppycat"
"The Dark Crystal: Creation Myths"
"Irredeemable Premier" (deluxe version of the normal series that was bundled before, so there may be differences, but the story is the same)
"Hacktivist"
The thing is: Not only are these bundle repeats but before they have been bundled more complete! For example, "Lumberjanes" is here #1-12, but the "10 Years of BOOM!" bundle from 2015 included #1-20. "Irredeemable", "Bravest Warriors", "Sons of Anarchy" were even complete in said bundle while here there are only a few volumes. And instead of finally completing Vol. 2 of "Hacktivist" (the earlier bundle had #1-5 of 6 because the final issue was just out then) they only repeat Vol. 1. Not very considerate ...
The rest of the bundle hasn't been bundled before (as far as I'm aware) but most of it is incomplete as well - apart from some miniseries and a Graphic Novel, but of course those are mostly in the highest tier.
So while this bundle for itself isn't bad, it's definitely far worse than the last Humble BOOM! Bundle (partly regionally restricted, many repeats, few complete stories) and that's pretty disappointing. And still I'm thinking of buying the $15 tier because there ARE some very interesting sounding comics included ... *sigh*
Edit: Oops, I just see that wbforeman999 already said which are repeats. Well, two are better than one, I guess: Obviously I overlooked some single issues from the earlier bundle, while wbforeman999 didn't see that "The Dark Crystal" was bundled before (it was in the "Jim Henson Bundle").
