About the matter, I do not know about politics. The rest of the post makes no sense. A store should be critizised for offering a generous refund policy? Outlandish
In the line of Ixamyakxim, it is clear that GOG underestimated how many people would act in bad faith and try to abuse the policy. However, pds41 has pointed out in this very thread that they did not care to actually read the text of the policy. Regular customers who buy and act in good faith (a requirement of commerce for all participants) need not worry: they would ask for a refund only when there is a solid cause for it. On the other hand, those who are trying to abuse the system, are doing so at their own peril. A few are going to be very sore that the joke of playing Cyberpunk and whatnot for free is not going to work.
A certain kind of customer is not welcome in any kind of store.
