My go to recording software for gameplays is Nvidia Geforce

Problem? Geforce is recording my mic, but not game audio, and Geforce doesn't have much options in settings. I believe problem lies with my audio settings, but I can't recognize what did I do wrong.
I want my recording to capture both game audio and mic.
thank you in advance.

Hey i kept using Geforce Experience quite a lot for some Twitch Streaming and did not run into similar issues.
What kind of microphone are you using? Something like a Blue Yeti or a Headset Microphone?
And are you using windows 10? Did you properly select the correct standard playback device there?
And ya i have different audio sliders for "system sounds" (which are also the normal game sounds as far as i remember - just with some weird wording) and microphone in the Geforce Experience Settings for the ingame capture overlay (in-game overlay -> Settings --> Audio). Both sliders are on 100%? And i use generate "single track" there.
I recommend OBS, the simplest program that just works. Just set to record the screen or a window and where you want the file saved, then all you need to do is press record.

OBS captures everything that plays on your computer, both game, music via youtube, and mic without any hassle.

In the middle of the window you can have one audio track for each input (see the picture in the link), desktop audio is there by default, and then you get one more by adding the mic.

If you're doing just audio, you could see about taking a grok at Audacity.
