toxicTom: Can't comment on that one. Those old "Rendered backgrounds and some puzzles" aren't really my cup of tea.
I am not sure they are mine either, but I thought I was ask as sometimes I enjoy a nice slow adventure type game.

How are you enjoying the Witcher 3, are you still working through the game or have you finished it now?

ddickinson: Hello, everyone!

I am finally caught up with my chat and the thread. No doubt in a few minutes I will be behind again, but oh well. I am not as quick with replying at the moment, but I get there eventually (so sorry if I take some time to reply, or if I go offline a lot. I am quite warn out at the moment.). :-)

Why all the new avatars? How are you all today, I hope you are doing well?

Thank you all for the lovely messages. I am not up to replying to them all individually, so I will just do a big group thank you and offer some group hugs. *big group hug*

And thank you to those who offered some input on Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut. Since the key is just sitting there I will just redeem it myself and give the game a try. I have never played Portal, so I am not sure what to expect, but I will add it to my never ending backlog and give it a try someday. *thank you hug*
Hello there hope you are well big careful hug :+)

ddickinson: Did anyone notice the block/clear message feature is implemented now?
Ah... so they finally fixed something... but broke something in the process apparently, because opening chat crashes my browser now...

Great to see you, DD :-)
**Extra big happy hug**

ddickinson: Hello, Crow!

It's nice to be out of hospital that's for sure. I am doing okay, health-wise I am feeling terrible, but other than that I am doing good, still happy and smiling.

How are you?
I'm sorry you're still feeling so poorly. The positive attitude, however, doesn't surprise me a bit.

Same as always here. Nothing terribly exciting to comment about.

Hello, Mr Agent!

It's nice to see you. I was just reading a bit about the chat breaking for firefox. I use safari so I have not experienced that. At least the block feature is here now.

How are you, I hope you have been doing well while I was away? And thank you for watching my stuff while I was gone. But next time please clean up all the empty jars of peanut butter when you leave. :-)

*big hug*

I will be okay. Just a few ups and downs at the moment. But being back home with my lovely wife has made me very happy, so nothing can take away my happy smile at the moment.

Have you enjoyed the new releases we have been getting while I was away?

I'm doing pretty well. Owl made sure to kick my arse to make sure I stayed happy ;-)
*Hides peanut butter spoon behind back* I don't know what you are talking about ,','',):-|

Glad to hear it. Only one more point to go before you get another shiny star. :-)

That's very good to hear. I hope the doctors have a line on what's causing you to feel badly, and are working to solve the problem so you can get back to full health.

The backlog's gotten a fair bit larger recently, to put it mildly.

That's good to hear.

You can hide the spoon all you want, no one else here could eat that much peanut butter. :-)

I see we did not get NOLF while I was away. I picked up a physical copy, but I have not tried it out yet.

Very true unless I top out at 449 ;)

I am actually in an official inquiry with some of the doctors, mostly due to me (well, mainly my partner) lodging a series of official complaints. It appears they made several misdiagnosis's the last time, gave me some medication that was wrong, and their attitude and mannerism to me and my partner has been far from professional. The problem for the most part can't really be sorted in any quick way, I just have to get better naturally and hope it does not flare up again. Hopefully once things are sorted it will be okay and I will be as good as new.

Is the backlog bigger due to games you really want to play, or just games that you have an interest in?

Did you decide on how best to celebrate the big 3 stars?

Morning Folks!
You people have been busy without me around. Let's see what I've missed.

avatar
penumbren: Thanks! :)

That's probably my favorite sequence from Iron Man 2, actually. The Marvel movies are pretty awesome at showing Iron Man, but Tony Stark tends to get lost along the way. I'm horribly out of date on my comics now, but he's probably my favorite superhero because - when well-written (Bendis, you do NOT count) - he's a wonderfully complex character.
As cool as that sequence fact, with all the comic book science in it, (seriously building a particle accelerator in your garage) I was ultimately disappointed by it.

Because... it...wasn't VIBRANIUM! My inner (and outer) nerd screamed in rage.

Not yet... I figured it should be some kind of GOG based GA but not sure beyond that due to gift restrictions and whatnot.
Any thoughts on the weekend promo? I actually only own one game from the list, and that is one I got as an extra in a bundle during a previous sale.
