I DL'd and started the demo, haven't done much with it but up to character creation looked OK.
I'm losing 5 posts and getting slightly pissed off.

The sale might not be like Steam's, I have no way of knowing as I have never seen a Steam sale. That is just what I remember reading on here.

First purchase of the sale! I've been eyeballing Alcatraz for a while. I'm not typically an adventure game / point and click genre fan but I loved that the game seems to allow the player to take the story in many different direction, the interesting backdrop / plot and the wonderful setting. The art style caught my attention as well. At .99 I couldn't help myself.

Going to attempt a breakout with the aid of my lover the first go around - hopefully we can run off with the loot and live happily ever after...

OK, decision time.
Can Warband be played different ways? Like a small group of adventurers, etc?
Or is it all out war and domination right from the start?
I'd like more exploration and building than just combat.

Difference is that the deals stay much longer on the front page now, so it feels like it's been days already.

Stilton: I'm quite enjoying it. It gives me time to gab, to check stuff out, to eat now and then. And with the twelve hour change over, even to sleep! Now there's a novelty. I like the faster paced sales, too, but this feels a lot more comfortable.

You know it's funny - I'm sure (just by luck of the draw) one of my big wants will end up somewhere in this sale and I'll end up grabbing it but yes, I think I've already talked myself into firing this one up much sooner rather than later. As in probably this weekend LOL.
