Darn. Guess that plan failed, then. :P I don't normally mind them that much, but between them being absolute shits on Monday and me getting only a 'sufficient' rather than a 'good' or 'excellent' for a lesson visit as a result, I could do without them for a bit. :P

I get it, being absolute shit in class can be pretty fun though.
Worst is monday, probably Friday as second worst.

When I lost control of the adult classes I taught I used to drop the biggest book I could find flat on the floor.
The loud noise startled them into silence just long enough for me to get their attention again. :-)

Yeah, worst is Monday after a holiday. :P But the 2-4 o'clock class I have on Friday afternoon can be pretty difficult as well.

Thanks! I have made some progress and am now sitting at 107 words. Unfortunately, the downstairs neighbors are suffering from a leak again likely caused by our water supply, so I am now trying to write my conclusion to the musical accompaniment of drilling. :)

Doing OK here today, preparing for my new teaching job, 30 6th graders learning how to garden. :-)

On the few occasions that I have had to teach students, I often find cutting open the chest and ripping out the heart and slamming it on the scales to be a nice way to keep them quite. But I am not sure you could do that, well, maybe with one of the more annoying ones, that way no one will miss them. :-)

So on a related note, how was prison?
