That's the roller coaster of painfully difficult games. So much suffering, for that one great moment when everything goes right and you do something that 90 seconds earlier you were screaming was fucking impossible.

Additional - Just got royally fucked by Overture by one of their favorite maneuvers - the "our game moves like a turtle on heroin three-fourths of the time" mixed with the "let's pin you in the corner faster than you can run away".

Fuck you, game. Right in the eye socket with a goddamn power drill.

That happened to me once in 1970 when I finally passed my drivers license test.

Way too late. I have one of two options - beat the game, or find who programmed it and smash them in the crotch with my controller til they piss blood for a week.

Just tried the tutorial level of Blade of Darkness...and managed to get stuck, which is embarrassing.

Well Crow I went for pizza, nice change of pace from ramen, which is all I had yesterday. I have some food but haven't been up for cooking.

Don't feel too badly. Old games get weird sometimes, even in the tutorial bits (assuming they even have one of those).

Pizza works. Hadn't mentioned it specifically, but that's what I thought of when I mentioned sharing. Already had some around.
