moonshineshadow: So which of the three new Star Wars games did you all buy? I am really curious to see how popular they are.

AgentBirdnest: Just Rogue Squadron for me.

I have a physical copy of Empire at War that still works fine. Not much sense in spending extra money to replace it right now (but I probably will someday, just because :-P)
I'm with you there, plus that is a HUUUGE download and I'm at the end of the month with no bandwidth left,

For some reason I had a hankering to play some space RTS though so I might hit my backlog. Maybe a little O.R.B. on a snowy Thursday.

Uh... so you have a limited bandwith. That sucks. That would give me really trouble since I normally download the games in a bulk. Waiting until there are at least ten new or updated games and then downloading all of them :D
Gonna wait for Summer Sale. Then I can buy all or most of them.

10 GB regular a month. 15 GB bonus a month.
As much as that sucks I wouldn't trade it back to have to live in a city again. :D

Interesting. Here you can have unlimited no matter if city or countryside. And I think almost everyone has one :D But probably one of the reasons for this is, that even in the countryside there are enough people and it is never far to a city. Small country :P

Sadly I'll have to let my buying to another day. Nevertheless the wishlist got swollen.

Yeah I'm about 450 miles from the nearest thing we'd call a city, surrounded by water on three sides and mountains/hills on the fourth. The really great thing is that cell phones don't work so I don't have to deal with all the bullshit. I'd go postal if I was forced to compete with phones all day.

Yep that is really good. I solved that problem by giving my cell phone number only to my parents and my siblings :D And honestly it can be quite fun to watch the people around you and how "addicted" they are to their phones. When I went to lunch with some collegues some time ago, the guy from my office was late so the others asked me to call him. The look in their faces when I told them, that I did not even bring my phone that it was still in my bag in the office was priceless :D

What I was really referring to was trying to have a conversation with someone now a days. With cell phones it's become a joke; every five fucking seconds you get waved off so the asshole can answer his phone. XD My brother did that to me for a week when I went out to visit him, and now we wonders why I won't go back. :P

None, but they've all gone on my wishlist, along with three (or four, can't remember) from the last batch.

And they'll probably be bought pretty quickly as soon as I have money again (whenever that may be)

Yeah, that is really unpolite. But luckily when cell phones became popular my mum made the rule that no phones are allowed during meals or while having some serious conversation. And my siblings were still young enough to be influenced by these rules and still stick to them even now :P
But yeah, one reason I seldom go to lunch with my collegues it that they are staring on their phones most of the time and it is just annoying and boring.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who think how odd most people behave with technology.

Lunch time! See you later!

The first two were instant buys, where I went to the checkout, before even checking out the forums:

Knights of the old Republic II, (got the first one when it was released here, never played either of these).
Battlefront II (have this on the PS2, along with the first one).

and, added Galactic Battlegrounds (never played this or heard of it till its release on GoG).
This is a really good game, if you like RTS I would recommend it.

Of all the other games, I will definitely get Empire at War tomorrow (or Saturday),
and will probably get X-Wing Alliance eventually, maybe X-Wing vs Tie Fighter too.

Edited to add Rebellion as... interesting. It seems to have some surprising depth,
despite the antiquated graphics and controls.

My game budget has been depleted already this month. :/ heh
