EndreWhiteMane: Well I meant my thank you and hug back too.
Always makes me feel good to say hi here before I leave. ;)
avatar
ddickinson: Are you at work for long today?
Just about 4 hours today.
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Just stopped to say Hi, hope you're all doing well this day.
I'm OK and getting ready for work.
avatar
moonshineshadow: *big hug* Hope you'll have a nice day :-)
Thank you and hope you have the same.
* hug *

As Owl would say "read you later", have a good day all.

Have a good day. I will have an extra big hug waiting for you when you get back.

*goodbye hug*

AgentBirdnest: But not the worst, either... It is much better than being a garbage disposal. In any case, thanks for the hug.
*big thankful return hug*

Hey, Ednre. Glad to hear you're OK. Hope you have a good day!

EndreWhiteMane: Hi Agent, sorry about the cheese grater.
As long as you're feeling that way, spose' you could do me up a pound of Mozzarella for pizza? :-)
*imagining people's responses if they read "sorry about the cheese grater" without seeing previous posts :-)*
I'd love to help you out. It feels good to be useful. Just be careful not to grate your knuckles ;-)
Later.

ddickinson: That's true. Is there anything I can do to help upgrade you to a more happy appliance?
Nothing comes to mind. I'll let you know if that changes. Thanks.

Would a game help to cheer you up? :-)

I don't know... I'll give it a shot. Giants: Citizen Kabuto has always been a good "feel good" game for me. I guess I'll fire that up.

Do you have some games that you go to when you in certain moods? I know some people have games they play when they are happy, then they are sad, when they are tired etc.

I do. I actually posted some of mine over 2 years ago.

That's interesting. A little before my time here on the forum. I own none of the games you mentioned, and the only one I have played is Tetris.
sorry guys to interrupt like this.
happy saturday anyhow!
acid insights and balloons, saturday afternoons - jefferson airplane.
ehm, anyhow, don't do drugs kids, me I'm just drunk.
Just wanna say... just wanna ask... how in the hell do you stamp those runes in to a silver sword in Witcher I?
I am in chapter 5, and damn it love this game. But the smiths do all kinds of things except take my runes and enhance my silver...
happy huntings and better travels!

I really tried to like Giants. But the base building missions with the constant abductions of that *wushisname*... After rage quitting for the umpteenth time I just gave up on it.

You need three permanent runes to get the smiths option of making such a sword. Then you will see the options in the normal trade UI.

That's a very interesting question. I can only say for certainty that when I'm really tired I will usually go for either point and click adventures or games I know like the back of my hand (like i.e. Quake 1). Games that require a lot of multitasking, like RPG (follow story, manage stats, inventory, battle tactics in case of party...) or action sims like Freespace are totally out of question. That's the reason I gave up on The Witcher 2 currently. I need to be wide awake to get anywhere in this game, and this I just haven't managed for months.

I always found the special, named swords better than the crafted ones.

By Helm! Thanks a bunch of grapes!! My rest of drunken day has taken a happy gear!
May the Witcher be with you :)

Perhaps some speculums would help keep you awake for the Witcher 2. :-)

Good idea! Have an Amazon link too? ;-)

Doesn't help with the reflexes though. TW2 combat is very fast and brutal and uses direct controls.
