^ Thank you for giving to the community, I admire your generosity and I hope that you have a remarkable new year. I wish to "opt in" for the random draw, please sir.

My fondest gaming memory of 2020 was standing next to Triss Marigold as she reclined with a petite chalice of wine at Corvo Bianco, as we gazed together into the breathtaking, panoramic view of the horizon. We experienced the setting of the sun and, as the night came, the twinkling stars in the deep, empurpled heavens, as the gurgling, tiny brook whispered to us.

My prediction for 2021 is that mostly unexpected events and a "wild ride" will take place in this, world in which we all dwell, yet I care not to further elaborate.

Here is my uploaded game-play video, so that one may appreciate the scene to which I referred above: The Witcher 3 Sunset and Nightfall At Corvo Bianco

Thank you, GR!
Time to check if there really ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn! ;)
If you liked "Prisoner" – have you played Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened perhaps? A bit different adventure, but still lovecraftian point&click. I like Doyle's books, so for me it was great, even if not perfect as a game.

bluethief: Don't ask me, I was too distracted eating candy to even noticed that we were choosing a driver!!!!
*stares at bathroom, then at blue "mints" in bt's hand*

Those aren't candies. o.0

I believe I saw a wild ride once...I think it involved one "Mr Toad". Anyways, thanks for sharing with us.

(also thanks for the video...will try to watch when I have some free time, after my chores and whatnot)

Oh great, now I have to call an exorcist again...and they charge more for removing eldritch terrors. o.0 ;)

No, but thank you.

Genocide2099: Ooops. I missed that. I'm going to stick with gaming. So my gaming prediction, or hope, for 2021 is that CP2077 is going to be fixed, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story will be released here on GoG and cloud gaming would still fail. lol
avatar
GamezRanker: I also hope most gaming stays free of the cloud and more in the hands of gamers. :)

Btw you in for a game from the games list too or no?
(just checking)
Nope. I'm good. Just the random drawing. :)

Just talking about that arcade game made me watch videos about it. Still looks fun.
avatar
GamezRanker: I still have to play that game...hopefully i'll enjoy it as much as you seemed to. :)

Wait, 10000 pounds?!? I didn't know they made notes that high o.0

I would so like to be so lucky :D

)
10000 £ is roughly 5 € of today, but for me and me mom in 1988 it was still quite a lot as we were really poor. It's not pounds but lira, an old European currency, like the mark, the franc, the peseta etc. Now we only have €.

Oh Lira.....it looked like the symbol for pounds....my mistake. :)

(also your tale reminds me of when Charlie found the money in Willy Wonka[the original film, I mean])

I played that and Hellblade for one euro with Game Pass! Not bad!
There's nothing in the list I would play or don't have already, thanks!

Thanks for the giveaway, I'm in for Outlaws.

My fondest memory of 2020 was when I beat Immortal Redneck.

Like most if not all Rogue-lites the game seems almost impossible the first time you play it, you are going to die a lot and quickly you'll get frustrated by dying on stupid mistakes. But after putting some real effort into it and seriously practicing my runs, I finally succeeded and it felt so great to be able to say “yes I overcame this challenge”.

For 2021 I predict that GOG will offer us The Witcher 3 during a sale :P

You're right they look very close! The lira sign was ₤! But I would need a very old laptop to type that! I had to look for it and paste it XD

That is quite an accomplishment, it would seem. :)

Thank you for your ongoing generosity. I am in only for the random draw.

A fond gaming memory from 2020 was my having replayed Parasite Eve, a game which I had previously played (on the Playstation One) perhaps twenty years ago. This time around I didn't find it as good as I had remembered, but I enjoyed myself nonetheless.

As for a future prediction for 2021, I expect GOG will still be around a year from now.

Thanks again.

I didn't play much of that one, but I ot pretty far in PE2...fun times(though tough in spots).

Btw did ya know there is a handheld sequel to PE2? :)
(didn't play it, but I know it exists)

If I felt like making a wager i'd say this is a very sound prediction.
