Bought HoS. Tried to download it through galaxy. Server problem, and then 'game corrupt' though it ran just fine. Decided to back up all the files, uninstalled TW3 and Gog Galaxy, including all files in C drive. Installed everything again, server problem. GGG
I've been having this issue for two months now. I tried installing W3 from the disk, because I have a retail version, which
then directs me to install GOG, which then refuses to update the game, saying 'installation error' then server problem. I uninstalled the Witcher 3 then tried downloading it through GOG, and the exact same thing happens. The only way we are gonna get this fixed, is if we all contact support citing the same issue. Otherwise, they'll just think its a problem with the save directories, which it obviously isn't if you can't download the bloody thing to begin with through the Galaxy client.
Is anyone else having the Chamberlain glitch, where they are unable to progress through the game within Vizima early on. The fixes to that are verify and repair, but I cant bloody verify and repair, cos Galaxy client keeps saying, like a petulant little shit, 'INSTALLATION FAILURE!!!' SERVER PROBLEM""

TheRev404: I am having the exact same problem. Have uninstalled Galaxy and W3 and reinstalled so many times, nothing I do fixes this problem. i literally can not play the game now.

Please check if you can open the below link in your browser. The server problem usually occurs if Galaxy can't download meta data for the game you're trying to install.

I can download this file fine too, but GOG Galaxy still does the SERVER PROBLEM thing. Can I place that file somewhere to fix the issue? It's been like this for two months now since one of the Galaxy updates, with no fix in site. My antivirus (NOD32) is off and Galaxy is added as an exception to my firewall.

I need to be able to verify the game files because CDPR support requests that I do that to fix a bug I'm having in the game, but GOG Galaxy doesn't work. :/ What can I do to fix this issue?

Merry Christmas. :)

Having similar issue.

Recently went back to playing W3. Had no mods or backup folders in main directory.

Stash location in Rose and Thyme but no actual stach storage. Heard you can verify to try fix.

But keep getting server error 'Installation failed' when verifying/repair.
I am also having the same 'server problem' / 'installation failed' when downloading DLC, updating or verifying Witcher 3 via the client. Other games within GOG work fine for me, the issue is only apparent for Witcher 3. When will this get fixed??
Espero uma posição da GOG... Pois é insustentável essa situação! Eu quero as DLC'S !! >:( Aonde estão as DLC's!??
Seriously what the heck?

Game had a stupid error window and now when I try to verify game files cant connect to server?

GG

loaded VPN service and connected to server. LoL?

Same problem here - I get a Server Problem error whenever the client tries to update The Witcher 3 or whenever it tries to verify the game files. I've downloaded the patches from outside the client but can't get it to recognise the 1.11 patch (ie in game it says version 1.11 but in Galaxy it seems to think it is 1.10) or to update the "Game Overlay" DLC. Has anyone found a way to make Galaxy and the game sync properly?

EDIT: Used a VPN setting it to US West and it seems to be working fine now! Guessing may be an issue with Australian and other such IPs?

Same story here for a few weeks now!! Server Problems, cannot update to new patch!! Please people, sort this shit out! We paid for a game and would like to continue playing it with the new updates.

Like a previous user said. This is the first game that I have bought on GoG. It will be the last one because of this shit!!!

I wish that GOG finally fixed Galaxy, so they could focus on other things -_-
