Ultrakill is fantastic! Do not be confused by the first person perspective, it plays more like a devil may cry than quake. Please play it!
In case you'd want to see even more titles like Gloomwood or ULTRAKILL on GoG:

^Refunded it on Steam because of 2 reasons. Please add an option to resize the giant u.i so people with motion sickness can play it without needing a fisheye fov of 120. Other than that, the game is light on content. 30 minutes. This really is more for the DmC crowd who loves replaying levels to get S ranks.
I don't much like early, blocky 3D games, I honestly think it's the ugliest games ever looked (though there sure are some overall great games from that era), but man, this somehow actually looks much worse than those early 3D titles. It's like they tried to be retro and somehow failed.

It's not a looker, but the gameplay is fantastic. It's very combo driven though, feel like a lot of people will go in looking for a old school fps and either be surprised or post a negative review on Myspace

Might be. All I mean is it's kind of... confusing, the way it looks? I mean, with something like Gloomwood I'm also not thrilled by the graphics, but at least I get what they're going for. This on the other hand looks like if Turok exploded inside Minecraft.

Would Geocities be fine too?
ULTRAKILL is heralded by everyone who has laid their fingers on as like the perfect FPS but its way, WAY too fast for me. And I played this and RA3 for quite a lot of time so I know about face paced games.

Its for the kind of people who believe that DOOM: Eternal is way too slowly paced during their Ultra Violence playthrough. It really is a insanely fast paced game for people who play with a minimum FOV of 361 degrees ;).

I very highly recommend watching lots of gameplay videos first before purchase if you're unsure about the game!

This game is a gem and every fps fan owns it to him-/herself to play it. Day one purchase.

The current version that is available has the prelude and the whole first act + endless mode so it's much more content than the old demo had.

I take back what I wrote earlier. After a few minutes of diving in I've had a blast, I've figured out that staying close to enemies while they spray their blood on you already heals you, not just killing them. I didn't knew that you could do that, its like glorykills but without the animations playing. Insanely well pulled off.

Finished the demo way too quickly and will buy it once the game is fully out.

EDIT: Boomers unite!

I think the same about Mothergunship. ;) We still need that here. Too bad GOG never picked it up.
Tried the demo, I'm never a fan of Arena shooter like Doom but this one I think I can get behind. Can't wait to buy it on GOG! And congrats for the accolades you have received!
