How is Velone different from Opus Magnum?
A bit of a shame, the support pack for Warpips that is on the Steam is not here, still it is better to have the game DRM free that with cosmetic add-ons but locked behind client.

The game seems to have the C&C vibe in it.

Maybe it's a mistake? Godlike Burger and VELONE have supporter packs here.
Hopefully, lets wait and see.

Yeah very strange, Warpips is the only one of the bunch with no Supporter Pack and no achievements.
Hopefully they'll rectify this severe mistake.
Has anyone played Warpips yet?

I don't want to ruin the good first impression, but it's 60% off on Steam, and they have supporter pack. Nevertheless, I hope to get the supporter pack if the game turns out good.

I never check Steam for varies reasons so was unaware... though how long has the game been on Steam? Asking as if its just a standard sale on Steam I don't count it as a ''special discount upon release on a storefront'' scenerio
I was going to ask about the missing Mac version of Velone, but given how much of a blatant clone of Opus Magnum it appears to be, I guess I could just go play Opus Magnum. (Haven't quite finished the extra puzzles anyway.)

As for Godlike Burger..."Meh, restaurant management game, pass." ::actually looks at store page:: "Um, maybe not pass?"

Since August 2020 they had a demo there, April 2021 was available as an Early Access. Maybe you have a point here.

By not that much, from the (first) looks of it.
Probably going to pick it up tomorrow either way, it's more of the same (under a different name) after all.

I had a look at the Steam reviews and it looks like Velone is worse in just about every aspect except possibly aesthetics, the developer appears to be an artist. It seems to have several bugs and much worse UI/controls.

It's a shame, I adore Zachtronics games in general but felt Opus Magnum to be the weakest* of the zachtronicy Zachtronics games and was hoping for someone having another take on this because I felt there was more potential.

* the weakest game in that list is still a damn good game by normal standards.
