It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Was trying to purchase Swat 4, but every time I go to checkout and purchase via Paypal after I confirm the purchase via the Paypal site it just redirects me back to the Checkout page without making the purchase. This a known issue?

You're not using any script blockers, ad blockers or privacy monitors, are you? Privacy Badger gave me some trouble not long ago with this.
Nope, I'm not.
Same problem or at least it sounds like the same problem.. I was using Adblock Plus but turned it off. Only other thing that may interfere would be HTTPS-Everywhere but that's turned off as well since Tumblr doesn't like it. (No, I;m not on Tumblr but some webcomics I read are and they won't display with HTTPS turned on.)

I make it to Paypal, put in my information, got the spinning processing blue thingie and then sent back to the GOG checkout page. No error or result displayed.

Using Firefox 46.0.1. Upgrading is not possible due to ISO restrictions. IE does the same thing.

Paypal works elsewhere for other online payments as well. I have CDNs in Europe and Japan and no problem with paying those.

The card is a payroll card and US and Canada only but again, Paypal works fine.

Support can't dupe.

edit: This would be the first purchase here although I;ve tried previously (like during the xmas sale) and gotten the same issues previously.

I'm having the same problem right now. I try to checkout using PayPal. I enter all my login information and PayPal begins processing, then I'm sent back to the GOG checkout screen. I've done this on multiple browsers and on multiple devices, to no avail.

I've used PayPal to make all of my purchases before, so I'm very confused as to why it suddenly doesn't work. The problem is compounded by the fact that, despite my best efforts, my bank will not process transactions straight from GOG themselves, hence the reason I use PayPal in the first place.

I'm hoping to pick up FEAR and Tales of Monkey Island before the sale ends, but that seems less and less likely as I continue to attempt the purchase throughout the weekend.

EDIT: I just made a PayPal purchase elsewhere that went through without any hiccups. This leads me to believe there is something wrong on GOG's end.

Yeah, WTF? I am trying since days, there was no problem before! I've tried in like five different browsers by now.
Switched browsers from Firefox to IE and finally got a "Bank has declined" error when I tried to pay via Paypal.

I'm using an ADP payroll card which only allows US and Canada based purchases. Not sure why Paypal isn't working though. I have an Amsterdam based VPS from an UK based company and Paypal with them works fine. Not even a fraud warning phone call. I get those when I renew my domains with Gandi.

*shrug* Oh well, I tried....
Paypall button in cart does little spinner, then nothing, all adblockers off no 'no-script' running, Paypal simply doesn't work. GoG support says "Most likely this issue is caused by using plugins like NoScript.
Please note that we do not support this type of plugins.

A potential solution is to add the following domain to the exception list:

braintree-api.com"

Paypal says sellers need proper PCI whatzit, has GoG failed same, is that why Paypal isn't working?

I've tried six different browsers and no joy! Also GoG still not accepting Discover card, why not GoG?
