Hello all, i've been trying to fix the game since yesterday; i haven't played since 4 months, started the game everything went fine, then i saw there was an update for patch 1.31 i did it, now game won't work keeps giving me scripts missing errors, rolled back to 1.30 because a friend said it 1.31 is only goty edition, didn't help, tried even going back to 1.20 something (which is 4 months old) didn't help either, read on forums people who had DLCs didn't have an issue, so downloaded (HoS and B&W) and I have ran Repair/verify about 4 times now, i went back to 1.31 and it downloaded 13g of data for me still didn't work, ran repair and verify one last time still getting the same problem.
sorry for wall of text, just wanted to explain exactly what i did, so you can understand my fustration.

This is what im getting
Error [content0]game\replacers\ciri.ws(329): Function 'GetCriticalHitChance' takes 5 parameter(s) which is inconsistent with base function (3).
Error [content0]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(1752): Function 'ApplyOil' has different return type 'Bool' than base function (void).

Warning [content0]engine\showflags.ws(11): Global native function 'DebugSetEShowFlag' was not exported from C++ code.

and when i retry script compliation gives me this ;

You seem to have missed one important bit of information - what game you're talking about.

I mean, judging from the history so far (especially similar threads), and from the mentioned file "playerwitcher.ws" I would guess that you're talking about either The Witcher 3 or Gwent, but I really don't know, and without knowing, we can't help.

(Also, I haven't played either of them, so I can't help either way, but others may be able to.)

You're probably talking about Witcher 3. And your problem probably is caused by mods...

Yeah it's the witcher 3, damn i didn't notice and i don't have any mods installed

edit: found one mod, it's the no focus witcher sense, running repair/verify now, i'll let you know if it works

No problem, I just went to the subforum and searched for ApplyOil. ;)
The correct subforums tend to be the best place for finding and asking for solutions. Quite a lot of games on GOG.com after all.
