There is a purple dot available in Unicode as U+1F7E3 (or U+1f7e3 as capitals are of no matter). And a purple square as U+1F7EA.
In HTML, that would be done with 🟣
as in "🟣".
Seems to need to be on a separate line when used as an example.
It should be possible to use it in the title under the account icon for the forum posts.
Many people have changed their account names in this forum, but no one seems to have added the purple dot to the account name. When quoted, the account name stays the same in the quoted post even after the account name is changed. So, purple dots could remain forever in those quoted posts, or at least until archived.
Fortunately, no one seems to have done that yet. Or at least, no one who ever gets quoted by anyone else.
