I have a Macbook pro and installed the GOG launcher. If I try to click "Install" on any of my games, the install popup opens but spins forever. If I try to contact support via the chat bot, no matter what I cannot submit a support request, the bot will instead just send me some "hot deals" and ignore my attempts to get a live person.

I know I can download the offline installers but... wtf?
I had a GOG Galaxy support issue a couple of months back, the Support Bot is very difficult, but I believe I managed to get through a request. Even if you do get through a request like I did, it took 3 weeks for someone to get back to me. There is no option to connect to a live person. I read a while back when I was having trouble that you could DM a moderator and hope they can speed things up. It can be really difficult to get support on this site so good luck.

Even if you get theough, assuming they reply. It will take about 4 months and at that a generic response. Try the offline anyway to test if anything installs at all.

Galaxy seems to be in a perpetual BETA stage that has enough issues that people hate it. Personally i hate having a client to download/play my games.

Regardless, do try the offline installer(s).

Also to note, i recommend against apple products.

But they keep the dentist away, apparently...

And, I see nothing wrong with the odd pie and custard every once in a while...

In theory. I just have a preference against due to their lack of repair-ability, price that is 3-4x higher for the same effect.

Pecan pie i found was actually my favorite. Had to limit myself to 1 slice per meal when i was in the army, else i'd get fat.

I have no preference at all for any of Apple's products, and have only ever owned two in my entire life. Both of which were old, out-dated and unsupported items that were repurposed for my own use. I still have one that I use, a first-gen iPad Mini 2012 (because the battery still holds a good charge, considering its age) for streaming web-based music and video (occasionally via bluetooth), which was purchased by mistake by my brother (who is not technically minded) for £50 a year or so ago, and relieved him of it for free. :)

Can't beat an apple crumble, and a custard topping just makes the experience all the more pleasurable...
downloading the offline installer through the desktop site should be a priority. you can easily add the game afterwards in the galaxy app by verifying the game files.
