Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if Baldur's Gate I & II, Icewind and Neverwinter come with controller support.

I've googled this but some say yes and some say no.

Any help would be appreciated.

Even if it did (which you could fake with xpadder anyways), I would not recommend it. Game is not “action” orientated, you will be doing a lot of selecting, boxing, targeting with mouse etc. Therefore keyboard + mouse is recommended. Just my opinion of course, go ahead and use a flight stick if you really want.

None of them do (nor does Planescape Torment). Search for the games in below link and scroll down to "Input settings" (GOG's forum code is broken for direct links):-

The best BeamDog has to say is "No built-in support; Beamdog supplies an officially-recommended Steam Controller configuration for the Steam release of the game." but they are referring specifically to using the trackpads on Steam Controllers like a mouse. I suppose you could use something like xpadder or AntiMicro (controller to K&M simulator) but I suspect the experience would be miserable. These games don't play like ARPG's (Diablo / Torchlight, etc) at all.

If the games interface could be made to work like World of Warcrafts then you could set up a controller yourself or resort to one like these instead.

If it's something you want to play casually away from a desk maybe mini keybaords are what you need.
