Icewind83: Oh, I forgot. People get SUPER angry on these things. That's fun. Decaf. Try it.

Original point stands; I see too many people whining at or about GOG as if they have control over the games other companies make.
LOL. Look who's talking.

Cool to see such devotion. :D
You really put some though into it!

But I was being a bit sarcastic.

Icewind83: It's great to see how many people still don't realize GOG is part of CD Projekt RED. GOG is not a publisher. They're a storefront.
While we're on the topic of correcting your posts: GOG isn't part of CD Projekt RED. The latter is only the dev team behind the Witcher series, but both companies belong to CD Projekt.

zeogold: Wait, you mean they actually added things to it? I was almost certain at this point that it was one big publicity stunt and was going to suffer the same fate as the "reclaim your games" section.

MarkoH01: Yes, they did (and I was astsurprised about this too). You can always check by entering the urrl in the OP. Master of Orion was shown for me last week there.
Thank you MarkoH01 - it's useful to know how to check our Connect accounts.

I was thinking more of a free game just for fun, but who knows... :) Hey, Valve makes games... (or they used to anyway), so why not GOG? :) True, they're affiliated with CDPR but still... :)

Pretty sure Valve hasn't made a game on their own in over a decade. They simply purchase teams to get it done. Not knocking it, but I think the last thing they legitimately did internally was Half Life 2.

Steam makes them way too much money to do so.

I pretty much agree with you as I think that's all correct, however it's just another form of hiring to a large degree. CD Projekt RED paid Can Explode to create The Witcher Adventure Game for example, and I think something similar is happening with Gwent if I'm not mistaken.

I have a gut feeling that we wont see any first hand developed games by Valve in the future because of what you said although it goes deeper than that too. I think we'll see games developed by CDPR in the future though, and possibly by GOG as well. :)

I think what he was clarifying is that GOG is a subsidiary of CD Projekt, not CD Projekt RED. CD Projekt is the parent company, while CD Projekt RED is the video game studio that developed the Witcher. CD Projekt RED and GOG are essentially sister subsidiaries of CD Projekt.

Sad that CDProjekt dont do publisher anymore they offered best PC-DVD boxes all around with good price tag, at least in central europe, i really liked their "golden collection" set boxes [Dawn Of War and Unreal games]

After initial glory of stream everything/digital everything im starting to miss that physical aspect of it.
Games where more trading commodity [retail licence] then just "service" [oem like licence liked to specific person account].

Whos know if im will be able 20 years in the future buy and play some today released games, like today i can buy 20 years old games on ebay and play them...

im starting to consider to stop buying games alltogether because my mindset is not ready to pay for only Service like products which can be taken from me. [legally]

Did they announce it, or just do it silently? I could have missed it since I haven't been on here much recently.
