But I didn't even say anything insulting... I just pointed out that a movie has music in it that comes from musicians. That you don't have to be in front of a musician playing a guitar to hear his music...

I'm not sure what you actually mean.
If I don't like the style, then why would I read *more* of it? That's like saying "I don't like brand X potato chips" and responding with "Well, try these other potato chips by the same brand".

Books and movies are two different mediums which lend themselves to different strengths and weaknesses and cannot be approached in the same way.

This is not to be rude, but didn't we already have a thread like this? It's cool someone started a new one, but was it a thread like this intentionally or one of those threads that sort of derailed?
