You read the title, so you pretty much know the deal by now. I've just stumbled across this game online and remember seeing it around when I was younger. Anyone every play it? I'm wondering if I should stop literally everything I'm doing and go find it on eBay...

Looks nice; is there a way to download it or is it play on site?

Okay I found a download but there is seemingly no options list which makes is kind of hard to play.

Well that certainly peaks my interest, but sounds like it could be a messy job to get it running - which is what I imagined.
Oh, Rising lands. I remember that one, I played it waaaay back.

It looked OK. There are cetainly better RTS, controls weren't great and combat was kinda clunky, plus it took a long time to get varied units. At the same time, the way research progressed through the campaign was... different (2 technologies per level only, permanent through the campaign) and the mechanic of food was quite interesting: all units had to eat and attracting new workers required food as well, which you could store on the warehouse or leave on the floor near key areas so they would be handy for workers/troops to feed from.

All in all, it was an interesting game and I wouldn't mind playing it again should it be released here, but I wouldn't consider it a particularly great RTS
