A good game. It's a shame that i can't play in portuguese.
I'm curious about the game but it's not the right time of year for me. I prefer to play scary games when the nights get longer.

Buy it now - play it in winter. ;)
Simply put, this game is a masterpiece of Sega horror. It's amazing how the industry has evolved since the 80s and 90s. In the midst of a hundred horror or survivor horror videogames, it's nice to see a title that stands out from the rest. I still enjoy the first Resident Evil or its wonderful sequels (in their original versions). Silent Hill or Silent Hill 2. And I still fall short if you consider legends like Alone In The Dark or some text adventures from the 80's (e.g. Uninvited from 1986). Horror is one of my favourite genres. On the other hand, GOG I'd love to see more classic horror games like 1995's Clock Tower or a remaster of 1989's Sweet Home in the catalogue, please.

It's not going to be 75% off again for a long time.

I'm not sure it won't be. This game is very old, therefore 75% off is about right for what it's actual standard current MSRP, in other words, it's actual real worth, should be as of 2022.

Therefore, I predict it will go on sale again at 75% discount on a regular basis, just like most games that go on sale on GOG have the same sale discounts in future sales as they also did in their previous sales.

Not sure if "very old" is a reasonable tag to apply to a game that released in 2014?

All I know is that GOG tries to avoid going back to release discounts if they can avoid it. The best chance of it going back down this low is if it sells really well and they don't expect to make much more from it or it's a complete failure and they're hoping to pick up a few stragglers. This one is obviously not a complete failure but I'm not sure where their line is on the opposite end.

That's too smart for me... ^^

How do you know?
I´m so bad at stealth games. The alien is kicking my ass on novice difficulty. And I just watched a speedrun on nightmare difficulty and the guy playing it didn´t even encounter the alien. Now I feel old and dumb :(

Time to release Colonial Marines, so I can just blow them away!

GOG.com: ...
I hope it doesn't take too long for the other confirmed SEGA games to show up. I'm somewhat bothered that Dawn of War Complete Collection didn't get a page.
A little worried you're pushing Alien:Isolation this soon after its GoG release

I do hope the other SEGA releases are not dependent on reaching a certain sales level with Alien.

If so, SEGA need to realise:

The game is 8 years old, been sold many times with huge discounts in that time, and was given away for Free on Epic, and SEGA's previous stance on DRM meant no-one would have believed it would ever come to GoG.

We're talking about a small fraction of a niche that will be buying (or re-buying) it now.

I did buy it full price, day one on Steam. One of the last games I did buy bound to Valve's service.

I also grabbed it free From Epic

And I've Bought it here

But I'm an exception
Been so tempted to purchase, as I already have Alien vs Predator 2000 (Disc and GoG version). But my main machine (that can handle this) has a blown power supply, though a new one is on order, and the fact that I have already spent quite a large sum on a number of games during this summer sale. Hmmm!, let me think...
