Previously on... Adventure on Mystery Island
After an unfortunate plane crash and a rather fortunate encounter with the enigmatic Monolith of Multitude, you end up with sand in your shoes, a precious code for Rebel Galaxy in your pocket, and a healthy dose of curiosity in your gut. But the path towards the second Monolith goes through a rather foreboding castle...

CHAPTER 2: Sidequest Castle

You stride towards the castle, excited to meet its resident. Sure it looks like it could be the home of a man-eating dragon, a vampire lord, or -even worse- a lady that enjoys talking to her mirror. But as every adventurer knows "what doesn't kill you, better drop some phat loot". Your inventory is ready: bring it on, castle!

Despite its foreboding appearance, Sidequest Castle is, in fact, a place of whimsy and playfulness. Apparently, the huge purple she-dragon that lives here is a lover of role-playing: gigantic costumes are strewn about interspersed with theater props, while a number of cardboard backdrops hang from the ceiling, ready to be deployed on the castle's main hall/stage. You're still taking all this in when the dragon suddenly swoops down, presses her snout against your face and snorts: "So, little human, you're here to play. But what role should I give you, mmm? That of the sneaky sneaky thief who's come to steal my possessions? Or that of the handsome knight, here to rescue... the princess?" (*blushes*)

Time to decide, adventurers: Would you rather play THE BURGLAR or THE KNIGHT?

Help shape our story: make sure to cast your vote in our upcoming Twitter poll before Saturday 12:59 PM UTC. The winning choice will be implemented in Adventure on Mystery Island: Chapter 3, coming this Saturday to a newspost near you!

It doesn't look like the poll is going to be updated for another 6 hours or so. Is that correct?
The knight.
high rated
By the last sentence of Chapter 2, I'd say Donkey would be the optimal choice. :)

I was half-expecting the dragon to have us play the princess.
I wonder what will be in the end of this journey? :)
The Knight
I vote for the Burglar.
This Mystery Island is getting more and more mysterious.
And I am holding off my purchases. A faster progression would have been better.

How about a Mage?
Shit, it's the first time I am torn choosing between Knight or Burglar. Oh well, let's see what my Dice of Divination will tell me.

*rolls*

Oh well, it is decided. My vote would go for Knight, if I had twitter :P

And now I wish she did :P

Knight of course.
I voted for The Knight in case it means I'm going to be surprised with the first ever opportunity to buy Shovel Knight DRM-free for $5 or less, but, otherwise, I don't really care.

Ever since GWENT brought in-app purchases to GOG (your own product, no less!) and mrkgnao put MaGog into legacy/maintenance mode in protest, my interest in GOG has dropped and my budget mostly redirected to eBay (eg. cartridges for my Retrode) and the local used bookstores.

(I have over 1300 games on GOG and I used to aspire to collect them all. Normally, I spend a ton of money on these sales, including re-buying at least one thing from a Humble Bundle. This time, I accepted the GOG Connect offers, snagged the three 85%+ discounts that were already on my wishlist, ignored the 75% discounts on wishlisted items since they'll surely come around again, and called it done.)

Well, I too started only to go for things from my whishlist, and redirected my budget to Black Library shop, waiting for some proper 40k here on gog. I mean, I'm good with those 3 titles out there, but I am really, really hoping for DoW series, especially that my drive refuses to read my discs.
Think it will work? :)

Probably not, but then, for me, it's more about disillusionment than actively trying to effect change.

This whole thing confuses me, but...knight.
