It doesn't even matter if the OP is right or not (I'm not judging that here), but the rate at which these threads pop up is getting quite alarming.
A couple of events (a weekend included) compounded themselves to cause this delay, and I am sorry that you had to wait so long. I have responded to your ticket in JuriJ's absence, and I hope you will find it satisfactory.

PokerLich: My next course is action will be to file a claim with PayPal for the last orders I have made, letting them now I have been scammed by GOG.com, and I will also lodge a complaint with the BBB.
The BBB is a waste of your time. Not only is GOG not a US company (the BBB only operates in the US), the organization itself is just a scam. They have no authority to fix any issues you may have, as they are a private organization, not a government regulator, and they let businesses pay for better BBB ratings, so they are at best, completely unethical. Companies laugh when irate customers threaten to call the BBB.
I tried to file a claim with the BBB once and they charge you to do it. So I said great, let me at least make sure I'm being scammed before I go ahead and fork over the money to file. The told me no problem, we can help you determine that. I said, great, how? They said first they needed me to pay a fee in order for them to determine if I was being scammed.

I said I think I just got my answer to that.

Aw man people don't mess with the BBB. I've had to contact them several times myself before and things are usually fixed within a couple days, usually even better than requested. However, I think before doing so I would share the issue with the game I'm having and my system specs with the community first as the people here are usually pretty quick to respond and are very helpful. Usually the problem I'm having; someone else has had the problem too and it's already been solved. Having done so I've never had to contact GOG support with things like this. You can always do both, start a support ticket and then start asking the community.

I'm not sure how many support people GOG has exactly (but I'm sure it's not one for each customer), but either way, the more games they add to the library to choose from and the more the customer base grows, the longer it will take support to respond to each and every problem people have with their products unless they can find more help. Then again with the GOG galaxy also, it probably spreads their resources even thinner with maintaining it and adding more support tickets with people having problems with it too instead of just a game itself.

If nothing else, you have a 30 day money back guarantee I do believe. If it doesn't work on your system just tell them it doesn't work on your system and request your money back and find another game here or somewhere else. If you know without a doubt your system will not run the game without an upgrade or two and you've requested your money back within the 30 days and they refused, then yeah, I'd be summoning the BBB. But I can't imagine GOG would make you resort to that.
But GOG is perfect! *cough*

Hmm...so let's see, if one wanted to file a claim to the BBB against the BBB, you could pay them to determine if you had a claim against them and then pay them to file the claim...

The ramifications make my head hurt...

That was ten years ago so things might have changed. Plus I don't think they were in a big hurry to help out a tiny little Mom & Pop B&B in the middle of nowhere. XD

It's happening that they have become big. People are laughing about Valve's support, but can you imagine if of those millions of Steam users, 10,000 of them will contact Valve's support at the same time?

Yo dawg, we heard you like spending money, so we set it up so you could spend money while you're spending money.

GOG has some issues with the way they're ticketing system works. Many companies that I do business with let you see the ticket and the ticket status. It saves a lot of hassle for everybody involved because you can see whether or not the ticket has been closed out and if it hasn't been closed out or otherwise touched, you know to poke the support staff to do their job.

I wonder how much of the backlog comes from people sending multiple requests because it's taken ages and nobody's responded to it?

At least this one didn't mention Steam or G2A, so maybe this OP's rant is legit for once. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
