TwinS4ever: For me it was not a specific monster, more like something was there with me in my room when I was in bed at night.
I used to turn to face the wall and hope that it wouldn't touch my back or something...
Where did Freddy touch you?
Show me on this.. teddy bear O_o

I'm in for Dragon Age Origins.

Scarriest Monster?

That is easy. Definitely T-Rex from first Jurassic Park when I saw it first time I was so scarred that I watched it through my fingers spread before my eyes :) Seems silly now but this was one of the first movies with new sound effects which are standard stuff today. And it was quite scary hearing the tumps on the ground from T-Rex walking and then hearing it come for the cars, the making that crazy sound and later on eating the poor lawyer. Its always the sound effects that get me :)

Nevertheless I can't really watch horror movies since I can't sleep then and it always seems like something is haunting me. For example after the movie Devil which incorporated Mexican Christian religious stuff about the Devils meeting I couldn't sleep normal for a week. Good movie but scary as hell for me :) Still don't sleep well when I remember it in the night. Just start shivering then.

Not in, since the only halloweenish/horrorish game that I'd be interested in at the moment is VTM, and it isn't in promo.

Anyway to answer the question, the monsters from Number Munchers I suppose since the game simply was too intense for me.

I can't perform math under these conditions!
Very kind of you Doc, if there is multiple chances of winning I'll add these couple in this order:

1. AMNESIA: A MACHINE FOR PIGS
2. DRAGON AGE™: ORIGINS - ULTIMATE EDITION
3. OXENFREE

Thanks
This incident is about 18-19 years old.
So one day I came early from my school.
It was Saturday and no one else was at home.
I thought to watch movie as I was not allowed to watch TV during day time.
I was searching for cartoon when I saw a movie just got started.
My room was dark and a faint light was coming from reflection from window.
I waited for movie to start.
The movie was "Evil Dead".
I was watching the movie holding my breath then suddenly I jumped hearing a loud bang from kitchen.
It terrorized me to such extent that I switched off the TV and went to a friend's home.
I stayed there til my mother came back from work.
I never told her about it but that movie scenes gave me creeps for years.
Years later recently I watched it again when I wanted to face my fear and I was surprised.
This movie was not that frightening as I remember it.

I am in for OXENFREE.
And Happy Halloween to everyone.
We have something similar in our country. :)
Thanks much, Doc, for the very generous event. I'd love to be in for Sunless Sea please.

Had to think about this for a moment. Then I remembered the Morlocks from the 1960 movie, The Time Machine. Depicted in glorious Metrocolor, these underground-dwelling freaks of nature had me mesmerized and terrified. That bleak world, the mind-control, the caves... A great film, just learned there's a 2002 sequel, which I wanna see now. The original is a true classic, the special effects used (time lapse work) are very effective still.

Have a fun Halloween everyone!
hallowieners for all!
Not in.

Mine was E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, don't know why, My parents went to watch it in the drive-in with us kids, ad I remember hidingin the back of the station-wagon my mom owned.

Even today, I've yet to see the movie, and doubt I'll ever see it. I don't know why because I've seen almost all the scary monster movies (Predator, Friday the 13th, and others) and they don't scare me, I normally find them boring, I also watch a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy shows, and never had the same reaction (between sci-fi, fantasy and horror) that I have with E.T.
When i was a kid my brother borrowed my dads car and didnt come back with it on time so my dad got my mom and me in my pajams to go in her car and look for him,, he saw over the fence that his car was in a driveinn so we went in
to get him i was told to lay down in back of the station wagon and sleep under my blanket,,

but as we was parking next to my dads car so he could yell at my brother i heard some words that sparked me into a horror movie addiction to this day, on the speakers from all the cars i heard they coming to get you barbra amd peeked up and there it was a zombie in the film night of the living dead and well zombie fan for life and when i see that film i still get pumped up to this day :)

Zombies man thats a monster :)

Dead space be fantastic love zombie games or even Amniesa one be cool anydead with dark light hair on your neck in film or games works for me :)
I am in.

The monster I found the scariest as a kid was the near invincible, highly intelligent, half-alien, half-human female monster in the movie Species.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Species_(film)

Plus, to make things worse, her real alien form is excessively disgusting looking. This form comes out when she wants to mate with human males to create more half-breeds. The way she kills her victims is terrifying.

I will be in for

Dragon Age Origins
Oxenfree
I found the evil Gremlins scary :(

I would like to be in for in the order of:
1. DRAGON AGE™: ORIGINS - ULTIMATE EDITION
2. OXENFREE

Wow, I need to rewatch that movie!

Thanks your the treat of a giveaway!
Thanks for another very nice giveaway!

I'm in for Dragon Age: Origins.

And the IT clown scar(r)ed me for most of my childhood, too. My parents were watching it when I was ... I dunno, 6 or thereabouts, and hey, it had a clown and balloons in it! Really took a long time to recover from that.
