SirTawmis: Good to know. I do plan ... on one day... getting a new system. But... clearly, if I am over here, wanting to play Dos games... I am clearly not a man of the future. :D
At least we can still PLAY some of those games....I remember when some older games ran poorly or not at all.

I do agree they should provide the dosbox files, though, for those that want them....but until they do, well let's just say i'm glad abandonware sites are still a thing(especially the ones who still host files even after stores start selling them, for those who want original files that is).

Dreaganos: Nothing wrong with having a Win7 system at the moment granted that its up to date :)
And i should have been clearer as Nvidia/AMD now have recording functions build into their drivers.
Here are the infos and the cards that support it.

Maybe GOG never thought that those files could be of interest to anyone so they took the less is more approach ?
Does shadowplay still require you to have an online account and their spyware running in order to use it?

I never used that one since im in team red, soo my initial reaction would be yeah probably. Only used
MSI Afterburner or Relive by AMD itself.

I've never used it though from what I understand, "Shadowplay" is the name of nVidia's software, whilst the actual "NVEnc" video encoding hardware can still be used by alternative open source software (eg, OBS for game streaming / recording or Handbrake for encoding files):-

Lol, low rated for my post above.....if it's because I said abware sites are good, I meant if one needs files for legally owned games that are missing some files, not for anyone to DL without buying.

And it's true.....it's better to have such sites as they usually preserve games a bit better than the ip holders(trustworthiness not always being the best, though, but still).
Just another instance, where SCUMMVM Versions remove some of the normal game files, making it difficult to play on older systems to feel the "real feel." Which is unfortunate.
