I understand that Khyrk can be killed for a pro-Shaper ending but... really?
I guess it's a testament to the freedom of the game that it's actually an option. I never experienced the Goettsch ending in the first Geneforge. Is it worth it sometime to go back to it?
The ending is better for the Harmony rebels if you don't kill them?
Too bad there is not a Khyrk for president ending. Of all the Shapers across the first three, I felt that he was the most reasonable.
When I play through as a Rebel, I am still undecided as to whether or not I should use canisters.
Edit: As far as the ending to Geneforge 2, I see the Unaligned Shaper as more reasonable than the Servant. The Unaligned can be sympathetic to the serviles while at the same time deferring to the will of the Shaper overmind (I had difficulty typing this earlier because of a headache).
