Couple weeks ago I was complaining to my friends about not being able to pick up Gabriel Knight 1 talkie version anywhere. I really wanted to dive into the story again, but I couldn't find it. I browsed GoG in search for it but to no avail.
Imagine my surprise when I got the mail saying that they added it to catalogue!
Great story, deep, rich world and amazingly written characters (with wonderful voice acting). The feel of mythical New Orlean is incredible, and any fan of occult investigations (hello, Hellblazer fans!), will gladly dive into the story.
There is only slight problem, as per standard with old Sierra adventure games, keep in mind to keep tons of different save games, because you can get stuck or die. While this is annoying, it's totally overshadowed by quality of the game and with full confidence I award this title with 5 stars, and leave my desk in search of my credit card, so I can buy it :).
Keep up the great job, GoG!
