I'm seriously stuck at the end of Day 2. I'm literally one action away from ending it - filling the square shape with a grid. But unfortunately, Grace refuses to fill the shape with a grid. She just says she doesn't think a grid would help right now. Curiously drawing a grid across the entire map works like a charm. I really don't know what did I miss, I searched various walkthroughs through and through, I started the day over from an older save to ensure I would really follow each step and not miss anything, but Grace still doesn't think a grid in a shape would be helpful.

EDIT: Solved. Turns out I was being ignorant and kept turning the square in the wrong direction. >.<
