Playing through chapter 2 as Grace, talked to everyone, everything works fine, when I return to Gabriel's room, and use the screwdriver on the fireplace to open the passage in the closet, as soon as I click the EXIT icon on the secret passage, nothing happens. Music continues, and I can move the mouse, but it stays saying EXIT all over the screen, and I cannot click on anything anywhere, including the menus.

I reloaded a save from back when playing as Gabriel, got back to this point, and the exact same thing happened again.

On Windows 8.1 64-Bit, 3rd Gen Intel i7 laptop, Nvidia GT 650M, 8GB RAM.

Any suggestions?

Having the same problem as shmargin :(
Windows 7 64-Bit.

Found the solution, don't click exit, just wait and you go through to the passage.
