I've been playing and enjoying this game a lot without any problems for a while now, but I recently got up to Day 4 and started getting a lot of crashes for some reason. As you can see in the screenshot I've included, a small error message box pops up and the game automatically exits to desktop if I do anything.

This can randomly happen whenever I try to do almost anything in the game, from using the inventory to saving the game to interacting with an item or talking to someone. I've been searching around both on this site and the Internet in general, but I haven't been able to find this specific issue. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone had any advice. I've tried redownloading the game using both the GOG installer and the browser without any luck.

Try changing the compatibillity.

Thanks for the reply. I think that was one of the things I tried, but it doesn't matter anymore since I ended up just reinstalling the game and starting over from scratch, which seemed to fix the problem. But thanks anyway. :)
