Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father is a classic adventure game released by Sierra On-Line in 1993, written by novelist Jane Jensen. While Sierra at the time had an adult oriented adventure game with the Police Quest series, Sins of the Fathers raised the bar for the adventure games of its time. The storyline is filled with mystique, involving ancient Voodoo rituals in the city of New Orleans, and a series of murders in the underworld. The voice acting is exceptional for its time, featuring the voice talents of actors such as Tim Curry (Knight), Mark Hamill (Mosely), Michael Dorn (Dr. John) and many others. Like a good book that's hard to put down once you start reading it, Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers is a game that is incredibly hard to stop playing once you've started. I highly recommend it to fans of point and click adventure games, or people who like a good Thriller/Mystery story.
