I have purchased the game FTL: Faster Than Light via Steam. Then afterwards seeing that recently they made a tablet/Ipad versions along with the FTL: Advanced Edition, I was wondering if I gain the tablet/Ipad verions, or if it is a purchase after update or only gog.com purchase addition or perhaps not at all. Separate purchase in that case. Which is fair, I think, given they've apparently done quite a bit of work in retooling the UI so that it works well with touch screens. Advanced edition is a free upgrade for those that bought it previously on PC, while the first release of the IPAD version of FTL is the full game including advanced edition.

For what it is $10 is a more than fair price for both of them.

I'd recommend you just play the PC version for a while, see if you like it. If you then want it on the IPAD, too, pick it up later (or wait for the sale / knock-off price that's bound to come, eventually).
