FoxtrotTango: I've had a problem that a few others had, but nobody bothered to notice because the topic they expressed their predicament in had been previously solved. This problem is still proving a poser to us Freespace 2 fans aching to play the game.
I've downloaded the program twice on my computer, the first through the browser and the second one through the downloader, and both times, the setup file takes a long time to actually do anything (about five to ten minutes) and ends with the announcement that the setup file is corrupted. I paid for this game with the intention that I would be able to play it, not sit in front of my computer monitor getting frustrated with its installer.
Is there any way to fix this situation? Either there's something wrong with GoG or the game that we're getting has a corrupted file that desperately needs fixing. If anyone can offer their assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.
