Hi, where can I find the save folder? GOG does not see my previous saves and I would like to manually check whether they are on the disk.

You forgot to mention two important things:
What OS do have?
And what installer type did you used?
I'm on Windows 7 and I have used normal, non-Galaxy, installer.
For me saved games reside in %userprofile%\Application Data\Foxtail\

In Windows 10 1803 the save games are located here
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Foxtail
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Foxtail

On Mac (at least with Galaxy), you'll find it in your user library. The easiest way to get to that is to open Finder's Go menu, hold down alt/option, and select "Library."
From there, you'll find it under "Application Support/Foxtail"
