I start the game type in the copy protection menu starts i cant choose a race. The i con doesnt move and the hotkeys arent highlighted like the previous menu

Pool of Radiance will load. Then when trying to create new character it will not finish creating the character. Screen for the character icon will not advance no matter what is selected. Cannot next, prev, keep or exit . Can select those commands but no response. Game is running on a Windows 10 OS computer with nvidia graphics card and 8gb of ram. Have just purchased this game and did not see any solutions on this forum. Can anyone assist?

I have the same problem, only I have Windows 7 laptop w/ 8 GB of RAM. an NVidia 460m video card. The game seems to load, but I don't have a cursor, can't generate a character (of my choice), etc. I hope GOG or someone comes up with a patch.

Still not able to finish creating a character in order to use the game. Other purchased games with similar format such as Gateway to the Savage Frontier are working as they are supposed too. Game is on a Windows 10 OS that is fully patched and has an nvidia graphics card with 8GP of Ram. See previous post of September 12, 2015 as this issue is still outstanding and not solved.
