I've played through Eye of the Beholder once and I'm thinking about doing so again. But I've got a few concerns about some apparent bugs: one I may have noticed myself on my single last playthrough about seven years ago and another I read about on GameBanshee's EOB1 game guide.

When I was playing Eye of the Beholder myself, I was able to use the Dwarven Cleric to raise one of the piles of bones I discovered into an NPC. You're supposed to be able to do this with all dead NPCs in the game (and maybe any other dead characters). However, the cleric was only able to do this once in the entire game. All sources I've seen, including the official clue book, agree that he needs a recovery period after resurrecting someone before he can do any more healing. However, in my case, the cleric never recovered no matter how long I waited. I came back after Level 11, having done a thorough exploration and he still said he needed time to recover. This clearly seems to be a bug. Has anyone else encountered this? Was it because my party was already full, perhaps?

The apparent bug reported by GameBanshee can be seen here:

Look under entry 19.

The question is about the four missing rings dropped by the mantis warriors resulting from the Secret Quest. I've seen others say they got the rings, but I would like to know if anyone here has gotten them. (On my sole playthrough, I didn't have any kenku eggs left when I reached Level 10, so I had to skip this Secret Quest. That's why I'm particularly curious about it now.)
The dwarven cleric has nothing to do with whether your party is full or not. I have never encountered this bug, but I keep raising dead people with a full party all the time. The game then wants to know which party member should be kicked.

I've also gotten those rings.

Do you have any ideas why I encountered the Dwarven Cleric bug? Since you said you've never seen it, probably not, but I'd still like to figure out what the problem was.

Was there any particular thing you did to ensure the rings appeared? For example, did you place the eggs in a particular order? You may not have any memory of this, but if you have any ideas I'd like to know.

Thanks.
Regarding the cleric: No idea.

Regarding the rings:

Here you can see the Mantis warriors dropping those rings.

And here they don't.

Also no idea why. Didn't see a difference. Both times it's right in the beginning of the video.

I found a post on the Steam message boards that may offer an explanation and solution to the Level 10 Special Quest bug. It seems that whether the ring drops take place may be related to the number of inventory items present in the game. The idea is to eat excess food, drink unnecessary potions, and use up unneeded scrolls. Once the item count in the game is below a certain number, the Special Quest ring drops should take place. Obviously, I haven't tested this myself yet (I have yet to start the game at all), but it's worth mentioning.
I'm running into the same problem again with the Dwarven Cleric on Level 5. He can do exactly one thing for my party and then tells me to come back "when he's rested." However, he never seems to recover. How long are you supposed to wait until the Dwarven Cleric can help you again?

EDIT: Okay. What someone said on Steam is true. You have to go to another level. When you get back, the Cleric will be ready to help you again.
