thisisfutile: I've searched my entire directory and I don't see any "dosbox_XXXX.conf" files. What am I missing? I bought mine on Steam, perhaps this is the difference?

Side note: Am I the only one who hates PoD's sounds? If I could change them back to any of the previous 3, I'd prefer it. The sound of a weapon hit is OK, but the weapon miss sounds like a hit too. A spell hit sounds like a weapon miss, and that death cry after every enemy dies, yikes, it sounds like someone throwing up. LOL.

sarge33rd: I dint have such a file either
The files are in the root folder of the game. It took me a while to spot them too!

I appreciate the feedback, but I just don't think it's in my directory. Guessing it's a Steam thing? (see attached image)

I did see where "tandy=on' is in my base.conf file, but not sure if that's it. Frankly, I've lost interest in messing with any of this because I'm playing PoD and unless I can change all those sounds back to any earlier version, I won't change anything. Thanks again for the help though.
