I downloaded the game from GOG with the installer. Everything went smooth. I can load the title screan and go through the settings and everything but when I try to start a new game the screen goes black and nothing happens. I get no sound, nothing mut a curser.
I have the latest version installed V 1.09. Nothing I do helps.
I am running Windows 10 64 bit with a Geforce RTX 2080 GC, Intel core i9-9900K, MSI MPG Z390 motherboard, 32 Gigs of RAM.
This game sould run on ultra settings for me no problem. Any and all help would be greatly appriceated.

Same here with Ubuntu Linux 19.04 with intel i5 6th gen and nvidia gtx1060

Update: Ok, after installing this (sudo apt-get install libsdl2-2.0-0) everything worked fine.
