I bought Fez a few weeks ago when it was on sale. I installed it on my Surface Pro and it would not launch at all. After some research, I updated my intel graphics drivers and it worked fine. Trying to play it again a week or so later, and it's refusing to launch again.. Realizing I didn't update the game to the latest version, I went ahead and did that, but still nothing. No error message, running as administrator, reinstalled, updated, etc. Don't know what to do, any help would be appreciated!

Could it be that your Intel graphics driver updated itself again during that week? If so, you could try rolling the driver back.

It could have, but looking at the update history the last driver update was released in March, which was the one I updated to.

I checked my drivers and the date was 3/8, so I rolled back and it changed to 3/19. Not sure how that happened, but thank you for your help!

So the game works now? If so, great!

Have exactly the same problem ... along other with that dumb Surface Pro. >:( Anyways, had to reset it now for some other reasons and need to reinstall the game. I'm not familiar with Windows 8 yet, someone care to explain how to "reroll" the drivers here?

If I have to fear half of my programs don't run anymore everytime that thing gets an update, I have an interestig future before me ...


Edit: Found it. But, well, since I just rest the tablet, there aren't any previous drivers there. It's really weird. Fez DID run perfectly fine n the beginning, now it doesn't react at all. Not even an errror message.
