I've been playing through FEAR and Extraction point with the FPS fix and have had no technical issues, until I reached the Epilogue for Extraction Point. When the rooftop fight starts, my game application freezes up, with the music playing normally while sound effects (gunfire, etc) loop. I tested this a couple times and the freeze occurred at random times, but definitely after the battle starts. When this freeze occurs, I cannot pause the game or quit to the menu. Attempting to bring up task manager to force quit does not leave the game application, even when using windows commands to give task manager priority. When trying to use other means to close the game like W+tab, the game does not close. I had to resort to logging out and back in in order to resolve the issue. I would love to finish Extraction Point, but running into a problem this severe right at the end of the game has hurt my enthusiasm, if anyone knows of any fixes please let me know.
